Sono un’artigiana della moda, creo pezzi unici o in serie limitatissima.
Mi lascio conquistare da chiffon, merletti, chantun di seta, osservo marsine e immagino un Paul Poiret dei giorni nostri seduto accanto a me per un thé.
Le mie creazioni rispondono a quel bisogno di evasione caratterizzante tutte le piccole grandi sognatrici che, indossandoli, si sentono uniche e anticonformiste.
Collaboro con mia madre, che è modellista per definire impeccabilmente la vestibilità e i modelli. Tutti i miei capi nascono su un foglio di carta e prendono forma sotto le mie mani, dalla confezione alla decorazione.
Li dipingo e li ricamo come se fossero delle tele.
Di ogni capo ne creo pochissimi pezzi in base alla disponibilità del tessuto abbinato.
Pezzi unici da trattare con amore.
WHO I AM…
I’m not a fashion designer, I’ m a fashion artisian. I create unique pieces or in limited edition.
I let myself be guided by chiffon, laces, silk, she observes and I imagine a Paul Poiret of our days sitting next to me for a cup of tea.
Greta Pigatto couture’s pieces are designed and made by me, responding to the need to escape that characterizes all little big dreamers who, wearing them, feel unique and nonconformist.
I work with my mother to perfectly define the fit of dresses. I follow all the creative process, fron the design to the tailoring, in limited edition of course, 100% Made in Italy, then I paint them and embroidered them like a a canvas.
